About Wyndie Oh!

Bringing you soulful sounds from the heart… this young lady performs to her fullest no matter what the genre. Singing Smooth Jazz, Old School R&B, Country, Gospel and Neo Soul-via track or with a live band- so you are definitely in for a treat! Wendy Heather Oliver  (Wyndie Oh!) has opened for jazz artists Jonathan Butler and Rachelle Ferrell, and Gospel favorite Richard Smallwood. Just this year she opened for Blues artists: Toni Green and Bobby Rush.

Locally you can find her freelancing with a number of bands: Weekly with Griffin Entertainment performing a lunch set at the historic Gay Hawk Restaurant. You can see her with the Underground Band at Poetry, Rhythm & soul every last Saturday of the month. A native of Memphis and a graduate of Germantown High School, she is also an accomplished model on the runway and in print.  Wendy has been an actress with local & national commercials under her belt most recently cast in an Arkansas State Lottery commercial. Wendy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and a MBA in Hospitality and Tourism. She joined the Sisterhood of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. in May 1989 through the Zeta Lambda Chapter at UT Martin.

Wendy is an entrepreneur as owner of Oh! What An Event Planning & Entertainment. Offering vocal entertainment, music referral services, event production and wedding coordinating. She offers other talents as emcee and production assistant through Fresh Ideas Entertainment in the Memphis area. She has worked with such diverse artist & groups such as After 7, Angela Winbush, Boney James, Ma’Lisa Morgan, Kirk Whalum, Phil Perry, & many others. Wyndie Oh! was a featured soloist on a Gospel project with Clay Holliday, Jr. &  Victory and the Soul Stories CD- a compilation of Memphis artist.

Wyndie Oh! starting out doing background vocals, as others moved on to pursue their own projects, she made it to front mic. Wyndie Oh! loves to create harmony with whomever she is matched up with singing background. Despite the many types of venues, her heart always rings out for the church... “Songs From My Heart” was the debut cd of Wyndie Oh! It was released early spring 2009 showing off her traditional Gospel roots.
